Eid Al-Adha, also known as Bakrid or Bakra Eid, will be celebrated on August 12 in India. Muslims, on Eid Al-Asha, sacrifice animals to commemorate Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to give up his beloved son Ismael on Allah’s command. Urdu, one of the most spoken languages among Muslims, is enriched with Shayari or poetry which beautifully sends the true message of sacrifice (Qurbani). Muslims and even non-Muslims send Eid Al-Adha wishes and greetings in Urdu language to their friends and families. Urdu and Hindi poetries on sacrifice have turned into SMS, WhatsApp messages, Facebook posts, GIFs and images that revellers use to greet their loved ones on Bakrid or Bakra Eid. Revellers often wish saying ‘Bakra Eid Mubarak’ on the festival. Eid al-Adha 2019 Messages in Hindi: Bakra Eid Mubarak WhatsApp Stickers, Urdu Shayari, GIF Image Greetings, SMS, Quotes and Wishes to Send on Bakrid.

Eid Al-Adha, which is celebrated on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah month, is not about shedding blood of animals to please God. It is about sacrificing something that is very close to you in devotion of Allah. Islam has laid down specific rules for animal slaughtering. During the slaughtering, the windpipe (throat), food-tract (oesophagus) and the two jugular veins must be cut in one stroke of a sharp knife. The swift cutting of veins of the neck disconnects the flow of blood to the nerve of the brain responsible for pain. Thus the animal does not feel pain. Eid al-Adha 2019 Wishes And Messages: Eid Mubarak WhatsApp Stickers, Quotes, SMSes and Greetings to Share on Bakrid.

Islam also says that the ritual of sacrifice should be done out of sight of other animals. It’s also mandatory to share the meat of the sacrificed animal, in three equal parts –for yourself, for family and friends, and for the poor. Eid al-Adha 2019 Wishes And Messages: Eid Mubarak WhatsApp Stickers, Quotes, SMSes and Greetings to Share on Bakrid.

According to religious scriptures, Ibrahim was asked to sacrifice the dearest thing he possesses. Hence, he decided to sacrifice the life of his son. His son Ismael too agreed to get killed as an act of obedience to God’s command. When Ibrahim attempted to cut the throat of his son, he was astonished to see that his son was replaced by a ham, which was slaughtered. This incident is mentioned in the Bible as well as in Torah with minor changes. Eid Al-Adha is celebrated to remember Ibrahim and Israel’s devotion towards Allah. Bakra Eid Mubarak to all of you!
